A summer weekend pop-up with a tartan twist, it’s all about the best of Scottish produce, smokin’ venison, fresh fish, gin and whisky cocktails and great beer at Dram & Smoke - set in a working steelyard in Vauxhall.

Created by Edinburgh lads Nick Fulton and Paul Ross, this south-of-the-river pop-up is here to see us through the summer season. “The Dram & Smoke idea stems from our love of the amazing produce that comes from the natural larder that is Scotland” says Head Chef, Nick. “We want to big-up a range of outstanding dishes inspired by our home country in a fun pop-up environment and maybe elevate a few ideas about Scottish cuisine along the way!”

When it comes to the six course tasting menu, a custom-built whisky barrel smoker takes centre stage in creating a number of dishes that guests receive as part of their £40 ticket. This also includes a welcome cocktail on arrival and an Innis & Gunn beer served alongside the star of the show, smokin’ venison haunch with a light pearl barley salad and bramble dressing. Other Scottish classics include haggis bon bons, potted smoked mackerel, and a creamy Cullen Skink soup shooter. The oft-maligned deep-fried Mars Bar even gets a look-in when dessert rolls around. “So wrong but oh so very right. We promise to convert you on this one” Nick assures.
