This year’s beer has been matured for several months in casks emptied of The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve. Casks first used to mature Caribbean rum, before travelling to Scotland to be used to finish single malt whisky.
The resulting beer is packed with flavour; rich, complex, yet mellow with an espresso and toffee backbone accented with hints of tropical fruit.

The Vanishing Point is far in the distance, something always slightly beyond reach. We name our annual Imperial Stout release this to reflect our unrelenting mission to never rest on our laurels, instead striving to push our brewing boundaries, to always keep progressing.
Every ingredient is hand selected, the absolute best we can get, and chosen with only one thing in mind; flavour. And every year when we come to brew and mature it, we build on what we’ve done before, always refining and progressing this beer – our apex, our Vanishing Point.
