Islay Whisky Cask

A rare collaboration between two Scottish icons, Innis & Gunn’s highly sought-after Islay Whisky Cask beer makes its much-anticipated return for 2025.

This annual limited-edition release, created in collaboration with Laphroaig, unites the best of brewing and distilling craftsmanship, resulting in a beer that is as distinctive as it is rare.

Islay Whisky Cask is a 7.4% Scottish Red Ale, matured in Laphroaig 10 year old single malt scotch whisky casks – one of the most renowned malt whiskies in the world.

The 2025 edition features a specially commissioned painting by Charlie Parsons, an artist known for his evocative portrayals of Scotland’s landscapes. This piece captures the view from Islay’s rocky southern shore, looking across Loch Laphroaig toward Texa and Kintyre, as the sun breaks through brooding clouds. Much like the beer itself, this artwork reflects Scotland’s raw and ever-changing beauty.
