Gunnpowder IPA

At Innis & Gunn, we are never satisfied with brewing beers that are simply as good as others. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of brewing to make beer better. That's why Gunnpowder IPA is an explosion of tropical fruit aromas created by the skilful use of Cascade, Centennial and Mandarina hops. How powerful is the experience? Think orange, grapefruit and pine turned up to eleven. Its fully charged, hoppy character, is perfectly balanced by the sweetness of Munich malt.

We have brewed this light bronze pale ale with two varieties of malt; Extra Pale and Munich. Between them they provide a richness that perfectly complements the fresh zing of three types of hops. The citrus notes of Cascade, Centennial and Mandarina Bavaria hops are all key. They help us to shape the fresh flavour profile and aromatic character of Gunnpowder IPA.

At 5.6% ABV it benefits from a real depth of body. All without compromising on any of the bitter, hoppy freshness that denotes a great IPA.
