VOTE FOR CANADA'S NEXT GREAT BEER FLAVOUR

BARTENDER’S CHOICE WINNER

Congratulations to David Ashton-Hyde from the Hind’s Head in Bray, England.

Congratulations to David Ashton-Hyde from the Hind’s Head in Bray, England, who was crowned champion last night at the nail-biting final of our Bartender’s Choice competition.

David created the winning beer recipe which we’ll go on to make later this year for release as a Limited Edition.

David’s beer is an Innis & Gunn twist on a Bamberg Rauchbier, made with smoked Scottish malts, matured over Bourbon-infused oak and then finished with Maple Syrup. His experimental ‘trial batch’ created this week for the final had real stand-out and got everyone talking. David wants to develop a beer with lots of big vanilla, caramel flavours, in the I&G house style, with a little hop bitterness and a unique smokey finish
